It’s not a secret that Senator Lieberman will do whatever it takes to stall and delay the Health Care Bill. It’s also no secret that he has a special interest in this bill not going through. This interest is money. His wife worked for Pfizer and ALCO and presently receives a salary from donations for finding a cure for cancer. Imagine the audacity of this woman and this man to block Health Care from the very people they work for…us. They both profit from the misery of others. Now the Senator wants the Democrats to “scale back” the Health Care bill. We knew this was coming. He wants it watered down to a mere shadow of what it was. Here is what the ‘Susan G. Komen for the the Cure’ said to Firelodge in an email regarding Mrs Lieberman’s status there:

Komen for the Cure,” the group said in an email this morning from spokeswoman Pam Stevens. “As a Global Ambassador, Ms. Lieberman is focused on helping us reach out and educate women outside our borders about breast cancer, sharing our knowledge and experience in a culturally sensitive way that is making a real impact on the lives of women across the globe. We have every intention of continuing our relationship with Ms. Lieberman in our mutual pursuit of a world without breast cancer.”
