Newt Gingrich: “It’s Time to Know, to Profile & to Discriminate”
I was reading “Human Events” and just had to share a few choice words. Here are some excepts from Newt Gingrich and I’ll try to make this as painless as possible. Mr Gingrich said, ” After the Christmas Day near disaster in Detroit, it is time for Americans to demand effective anti-terrorist actions.” Now this is what he has to say about our new rules for flying:
“Once again, instead of targeting the source of the threats, our politically correct government decides to make life more miserable for the travelling public by imposing hopelessly meaningless rules such as not allowing passengers to leave their seats in the last hour of the flight. Bound by cultural sensitivities, the default reaction of the bureaucracy is to review the procedures and wring its hands ineffectively.”
So, Newt, that “anti-terrorist action” you want to demand doesn’t cover staying in your seat while flying? Is that too much for you? He further states:
“It is time to know more about would-be terrorists, to profile for terrorists and to actively discriminate based on suspicious terrorist information.
The United States should track down the owners of every website that promotes terrorism and systematically root them out. It should be as dangerous to a person promoting terrorism as it is to execute an act of terrorism. The same should apply to the electronic communications of every known radical (and using these communications to track down every unknown radical).”
But, you don’t want to get out of your seat while flying? Here’s our boy on the 9/11 trial to be held in New York:
“The Attorney General and every Justice Department appointee whose law firms provided pro bono counsel for terrorists should be fired and replaced with lawyers who believe the lives of Americans are more important than the rights of terrorists. The United States must have a policy of effective interrogation to understand our enemies and disrupt their planned attacks.”
Fire their attorney’s? What does he mean, replaced by “lawyers who believe the lives of Americans are more important….” Now this is everything our country is not. This is anti-american. They still won’t say, “torture.” Gingrich calls it, “effective interrogation.” When are we going to get past the torture debate? This is America. WTF! Our President has Dick Cheney, who thinks he’s still vice-president, slamming him in the news every second he gets. He’s got a 24/7 “news” station attacking his character if he likes mustard! If they care about our country’s security, then let this president do what we pay him to do. After all, 9/11 didn’t happen on President Obama’s watch. We already know the previous administration did not keep us safe.

Ah that was nice Anomaly. It was music to my ears. I agree 100% with everything Newt said. That you and your ilk would think there is anything wrong with these statements shows how disconnected you people are.

@Rebel: I aim to please! Your rants sound very familiar to me. Have we met on another social network, or is our friendship just by chance?
