If O’Keefe Had Been A Democrat Breaking In Eric Cantor’s Office….
We’ve all been reading about James O’Keefe’s arrest by the FBI. There is an obvious difference between the right wing and left wing’s perspective on this. So I read some posts from the perspective of the right wingers.
First of all, imagine if it was a Democrat activist breaking into Eric Cantor’s office. We would be drawn and quartered. And worse.
Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, O’Reilly, et al would have a field day. But, it was a Conservative activist. And now, he’s a Conservative criminal activist.
I would say he’s an “alleged” criminal activist, but the right got pissed of when Obama used the word “alleged” during the ‘underwear’ bomber’s attempted terrorist attack. After all, we should be fair and balanced.
I have no doubt that the right would demand our activist be charged with treason. They use this word a lot. I’ve read enough bullshit online just after President Obama was sworn in that he should be charged with treason.

But it was a Conservative activist. Not a Democrat. Remember when you read this outrageous defense, that this man, O’Keefe, attempted to tap into the phone lines of Senator Landrieu’s office. O’Keefe’s version is murky at best. Whatever he claims his defense to be, he was there under false pretense without good intention. And intent is a biggie in the courts.
In this sample of blatant defiance, they mention ACORN. Senator Landrieu’s office is not affiliated with ACORN, so that is crap. They also refer to him as a “twenty something kid.” He is no “kid”. He portrayed a pimp and a repairman. Kids are in school.

While the whole truth about the latest story surrounding James O’Keefe is not entirely clear, one thing is certain: he made a mistake. No, we’re not talking about whatever mistakes he may have made at Senator Landrieu’s (D-LA) office. We’re talking about the mistake of exposing the establishment media not only for being intellectually bankrupt, not only for being ideologically partisan, not only for taking down ACORN, an organization on the same side of the intellectual divide as a large percentage of the media, but also for exposing the media’s down-and-out laziness. A twenty something kid showed the big bastions of supposed “investigative journalism” how its done. And for that, they have never forgiven him.

Comrade Anamoly: Damn straight he showed the hacks in the mainstream media “how it’s done.” He exposed acorn for the sham that it is. If he was a democrat and he was exposing a right wing group he could have murdered someone and he would get a pass from the idiots in the mainstream media. Fat Teddy killed a young girl and they gave him a pass – made him out to be some kind of “lion” of the liberal left. Piss on his him. Good riddance. I don’t care if this kid tried to bug some crooked Democrats office. It’s too bad he got caught.

@Rebel: Are you excusing this man? He entered a Senator’s office and bugged it & you defend it with that cheesy ACORN tape which he edited? Nothing justifies what he did. It’s a federal building is it not? He’s ridiculously stupid and you’re excusing it. Please tell me how it is you’ve concluded that Senator Mary Landrieu is “crooked.“

Comrade Rebel. He wasn’t charged with attempted wiretapping. He was investigating reports that Landrieu was avoiding calls from constituents complaining about the healthcare bill. Let’s give the young man his day in court and we will see what laws he broke

@Rebel: Do you really believe that? Be honest & speak from your heart, if you can, Comrade. By they way, ACORN was proved innocent. He edited 18 1/2 minutes of tape. He is not an honest man. Are you? You didn’t answer my previous question. How is Senator Landrieu “crooked.” Is she also charged with something I’m not aware of? Did you give ACORN a day in court before demonizing them? His intentions are not honorable.

Comrae Anomaly: You are totally spinning the acorn incident. They were caught on tape – red handed. The acorn employees in question were fired. As far as I know, Landrieu is not a crook but I wouldn’t be surprised if whe was being paid off by a special interest group.’
Speaking of crooks. Did you hear about the contract that was pulled and converted to a no bid shortly after Obama took office? It was a 24 million dollar contract and it was taken off bid and awarded to a prominent Obama campaign donor. Ahem.
I’ll get you the link if you think I am making it up. I just heard about it the other day.
