Without fact or backing again, Glenn Beck has another revelation. On his show while discussing education with a caller, he claims, “Progressives have had a choke hold on education. They’ve done everything piece by piece to dumb us down.” It gets better.
In absolute denouncement — Beck asserts the education system has been in the hands of the Progressive movement since the turn on the century. All of this was done intentionally according to Mr. Beck. Glenn ingeniously uncovered our secret Progressive agenda to dumb down America in order to…..what?

Perhaps Glenn Beck is attempting to find a scapegoat for his own ignorance, blaming the Progressive movement for being ‘dumbed down.’ Charlie the caller, at the end seemed to be at a loss when Beck tossed in another absurd theory in the mix– “and then the political machinery finishes the job.”
Charlie pauses, then says — “I agree.” Glenn Beck is dumbing down his audience for his own agenda. He’s also dwindling down his audience: Between November and the first three weeks of January, Glenn Beck has lost, on average, nearly 500,000 viewers. Since the previous year, Glenn Beck has lost 50% of his audience.
