WI Police In Solidarity With The Unions Refuse To Throw Protesters Out As Ordered

Ryan Harvey reports, “Hundreds of cops have just marched into the Wisconsin state capitol building to protest the anti-Union bill, to massive applause. They now join up to 600 people who are inside.”

The Wisconsin Police came out in solidarity with the unions and had something to say to their Governor, “Let me tell you Mr. Walker, this is not your house, this is all our house.”

Ryan reported on his Facebook page earlier today:

“Police have just announced to the crowds inside the occupied State Capitol of Wisconsin: ‘We have been ordered by the legislature to kick you all out at 4:00 today. But we know what’s right from wrong. We will not be kicking anyone out, in fact, we will be sleeping here with you!’ Unreal.”

Firefighters and police are showing up in great numbers, in solidarity with the unions and against the Governor’s radical agenda, stripping Americans from their rights — senseless firing, low minimum wages and poor working conditions are at stake.

We won’t go back in time. This is America and the people have spoken, not the corporations. While Wisconsin’s governor is looking out for his own party’s interests, the police and firefighters, among others, are just going to get louder. Governor Walker will become an historical disgrace if he eradicates the rights of workers.

Radical elements are sweeping across America and it’s contagious. While the Arizona Governor hallucinated headless bodies in the desert, Republicans still voted for her, then other states wanted to emulate Arizona’s pro-discrimination bill. Right wing radicalism is alive in America and it has to cease.  And now — it’s the unions they want to exterminate and other states want to emulate Governor Walker’s exhaustive leap of insanity.

    Protests by those whose rights are being trodden upon is actually a force against the oppression any majority who do not recognize these human rights may try to push through during elections funded now largely by corporate “spinners”. The outright deceptions employed by the new right wing Republicans is appalling. Just on the issue of health care, they have used corporate power and money to confuse the issue and promote blatant falsehoods. Regarding this issue please go to youtube and find interviews by Bill Moyers of Wendell Potter. Watch the videos calmly and do the logic. These aren’t spots funded by corporations, and in addition we are seeing that PBS now is having its wings clipped by cutting off any funding from the government (a government that should be of the people by the people and for the people). Their mission is clear: Buy the airways, control all commerce, deplete the government’s ability to stand in their way, and take away the rights of workers to organize which makes them slaves not trading partners. Our country was based on the right to have fair trade with fair representation, we have begun to learn that enslaving others or taking away their rights diminish us all. This is a human rights issue, big business is very large, well organized, international and often anything but patriotic in its concerns. The far right has no conservative values, it just has the concerns of the very rich at heart. We have now seen past the sheep’s clothing of the WI governor to his real heart. He is anti labor, and therefor pro slavery. This must not stand. Why are huge bloated, too big to fail corporations, better than the much smaller governments they wish to limit and dismantle? When you have too much power anywhere you have tyranny, and in this country the big power is the power of corporations who exercise their rights to organize against workers every single day and give raises even to those who have failed our nation. Enough! God bless the police and fire fighters and all union workers of WI! Those who think unite with you, and you have every right to cry foul and stop the tyranny of this governor or any other governor who would take away the human rights of anyone in this society. The officer was right, the “house” was belonging to the people, all the people, not the unschooled majority of those few who voted, but to all the people. Also who dares to say our most sacrificing and hard working workers, who also put their lives on the line for all of us, who dares call them lazy or greedy? The next time you need them be sure and tell these over stressed over worked men and women who make so little that their widows and widowers have to rely on charity, and who daily risk their lives for you, that they are actually greedy and lazy. They aren’t, but one thing is for sure, anyone who says they are, are just crazy.

    Seriously, it’s about time the American people stood up for something! I was wondering how long the people would withstand their crazy governments. Here I thought this law would pass and it would just be complained about endlessly with no action taken. This is civil disobedience and it IS required for change. A long time ago, Americans knew that, at some point many forgot. The nay-sayers are simply sheep being led to slaughter. While I’m not in favor of unions, I’m happy to see people standing up for what they believe in and reminding the government that the will of the people is stronger than they think.

    THE absolute DUMBEST statement I read in ALL of that above, was this;

    “The (Wisc.) Capitol is a GOVERNMENT owned building.” — LOL!
    REALLY!? The “Government OWNS” that building?!

    You idiot savant.

    The PEOPLE ARE THE GOVERNMENT! – Dolt!

    This moron acts as if the citizens of Wisc. are trespassing on privately owned GOVERNMENT property!

    It just figures some ignorant Con. and no doubt Fox “News” lover, typed that insanity. LOL!

    YES! About time real Americans show some spunk! A big mistake was made in the last election. These new representatives came barging in and are trying to undo the good that is America. Lets recall all of them and at the next election vote with intelligence. Big business is raping us. Between wars inflating Halliburton and Blackwater and oil spills these rich folk have had us bent over the table. They try and care us with words like terrorist and socialist and lie and when exposed for their lies they just repeat them through their rich lying mouthpieces like Limbaugh, Beck and Palin. It’s about time for the real revolution. Stand up to the GOP Tea freaks.
