Wisconsin’s Election Smacks of Fraud not ‘Human Error’

JoAnne Kloppenburg initially declared victory over Conservative incumbent David Prosser in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race. But, that’s dramatically changed due to an unconvincing “human error.”

The initial results of the highly anticipated race, then the outcome, gave Gov. Walk pause as he tried to convince the public that the result was not a referendum on him, or his legislation that attempted to eradicate Collective Bargaining rights from unions, or the state’s Republican Party.  There was/is a lot on the line.

Wisconsin’s Gov. Walker, claimed his anti-union position was due to budget failings. The failings in the budget are due to his own tax policies. After unions agreed to a compromise, the stubborn Governor went for broke, with an all out attack on Collective Bargaining Rights to forge ahead with his agenda.

Walker never campaigned on this issue, being a newbie Governor to Wisconsin, the people had no realization of his extreme views. Wisconsinites and protesters from all over America went out en masse, with numbers totaling more than since the VietNam War. Even then, Walker would not negotiate.

A miracle was bestowed upon the Republican Party by the name of Kathy Nicklaus, the controversial Waukesha County Clerk who suddenly claimed incumbent David Prosser as the winner.  Nicklaus kept votes on a personal computer, with which only she has access, and waited 29 hours to report this “discovery.”

The controversial Kathy Nickolaus, announced a human error in the calculations recording the votes of Brookfield, a city located outside Milwaukee that typically leans Republican. The intentional ‘error’ was hers.  Oddly the first “error” was reported at approximately 200 votes, then Nicklaus claimed over 7,000 votes which just surpassed the 0.5 percent mark needed to trigger an automatic recount.

Nickolaus is now being scrutinized for her ties to the state’s Republican Party. She worked as a data analyst and computer specialist for the state’s Republican caucus for 13 years, a time which includes Prosser’s brief tenure as Assembly Speaker.

In 2001, Nickolaus was granted immunity to testify about her role as a computer analyst for the Assembly Republican Caucus, which was then under investigation, along with the Senate Republican Caucus and the Democratic caucuses for both houses — for using state resources to secretly run Campaigns.

During 2002 a corruption probe investigation ensued. State employees working on campaigns on State time led to indictments of 5 legislative leaders — Nickolaus received immunity from prosecutors and resigned that same year.

Back to now her most recent controversy — now.

- Statement from state Assembly Minority Leader Peter Barca (D):

The way Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus revealed her discovery of 14,300 previously uncounted votes raises disturbing questions, particularly in light of her past partisan history. She has been the subject of multiple complaints from other Waukesha officials on how she handles elections and keeps public information to herself outside the official county system where others can verify it.

Nicklaus must think we have sucker written on our collective Democrat foreheads. She’s not the only one, if you read the far right wing blogosphere, they were abuzz when Ms. Kloppenburg appeared to be the victor.

From a far right wing blogger, The Other McCain:

UPDATE: Two hours later, Kleptoburg’s attempt to steal the election is proceeding as expected: Now she’s “ahead” by 224 votes.

UPDATE II: As of 3 p.m. ET, it appears Kleptoburg has stolen the election by 204 votes. We await the media’s declaration of a landslide triumph for the AFL-CIO.

UPDATE III: It should be noted that the reported totals are unofficialreturns, and that communities have until April 15 to submit the official certified results. Then there will be a deadline of April 20 to request a recount.

UPDATE IV: Congratulations, liberals — you just killed Wisconsin.

RobertStacyMcCain, had a partisan temper tantrum in the comment thread:

That’s why it’s important that we DECLARE VICTORY for Prosser. From here on out, if Kloppenheimenfloppenburger wins, she stole it.

(my emphasis)

Robert Stacy McCain and other Conservatives called foul with nothing to back it up. It’s highly doubtful Conservatives will protest Nicklaus’s amazingly good fortune mixed with her dubious background — she went on to simply discover 14,000 votes on her own personal computer.

Spinning JoAnne Kloppenburger’s win as fraudulent the DailyCaller ‘reported’:

Wisconsin citizens and election experts are questioning the veracity of the state’s Supreme Court race, which the Associated Press reports left-wing legal activist JoAnne Kloppenburg won by 204 votes over Justice David Prosser, out of the more than 1.4 million votes

This is the state that wrote the book on squeaker elections,” St. Clair told The Daily Caller. “I wouldn’t put it past somebody in Wisconsin to be selectively revealing ballots or conveniently finding ballots because this is the kind of stuff we’ve seen in the past before. I think it’s also important to note that Wisconsin and Illinois are neighbors and how they vote in Chicago doesn’t necessarily stop at the state line.”

The Daily Caller has yet to report on the suspicious actions of the very partisan Ms. Nicklaus.

This is reminiscent of Bush vs. Gore and it happens to be close to the tenth anniversary of the highly dubious election. Ten years later, people still protest that Bush v. Gore brought dishonor on the Court.  The Conservative court, handed the election to George W. Bush. To win, by any means necessary is certainly the Republican mantra.

The Republican Party plans to push their agenda through, by any means necessary.

This is as unjust as it gets — we’ve fought the good fight, without the backing of billionaire dollars. At this point, President Obama could walk in my front door with Anthony Weiner, telling me this was a legitimate error and I’d still say this warrants an investigation.

We are still Wisconsin and this is not over.
