Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin run into Jesus at the Airport

With Michele Bachmann claiming that God wants her to run for President, voters should give pause — because Sarah Palin has also thrown God into politics stating, she hopes God will show her the way to the White House.

Meeting at the airport, the half term Governor of Alaska and the Congresswoman take shots at each other for their consistent gaffes. But, then Jesus Christ approaches – You know, the guy who heals people without asking for insurance.

So, you know it’s just a matter of time before they get into it — who does God support most for President? But sadly, no, they didn’t quarrel who He endorses, in fact, they didn’t recognize Him. After this meeting, I’d wager that He’s abandoning any support He may have considered:

Candidates should never throw God into politics; it’s just not His thing. Are Conservative politicians so insecure with their own campaigns that they feel the need to feign support from God Himself?

If they aren’t speaking metaphorically about their God-supports-me-for-President-in-2012 mantra, then we can only surmise that the words they are hearing are that of the Republican God – but, is it Bush or Reagan — I’ve forgotten.

This time worn political tactic is an arrogant one. God also gave his political endorsement to Pat Robertson to run for President in 1988.

After that calling, you should wonder if God isn’t pranking them
