‘Moderate’ Mitt Romney Also Signs the Anti-Gay Pledge

Conservatives are going pledge crazy. Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and now Mitt Romney have signed the anti-gay pledge, in opposition to same sex marriage. 

NOM, the National Organization for Marriage previously dedicated time, attention and money to opposing equality for everyone. In June, the ultra-Conservative group pledged $2 million to reverse New York’s same sex marriage law. Money speaks volumes in politics because the aforementioned Republican frontrunners sealed the deal with a signature.

Given the attention Congresswoman Bachmann’s husband has been receiving over his ‘gay repairative’ treatment at his tax payer funded clinic, her signing this pledge came as no surprise. But, Mitt Romney has steered clear of the pledges which have come into the public eye recently.

These pledges are political suicide, but to take a guess, Mitt Romney wants to garner more Conservative support. Mitt Romney was the only moderate candidate who is ranking high in the polls.

NOM’s closet must be packed full. They protest too much and so do their political counterparts.
