President Obama traveled to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to honor the 30 American servicemen, including 22 Navy Seal commandos, who were killed after their helicopter was downed in Eastern Afghanistan.
Four helicopters flew the president as well as military and administration officials for a 45 minute unannounced trip from Fort McNair in Washington to Dover, where the remains of the Americans were being transported.
According to Fox News host, Andrew Napolitano, the President paid his respects to distract from the economy — imagine the outrage if instead, Obama had not honored the fallen – he would be demonized as un-American.
Media Matters:
Napolitano made public after Osama bin Laden’s death that he felt it was manufactured. Worth noting is House Republicans after America’s worst terrorist was killed, said they had no plans to follow the Senate in passing a resolution honoring the military mission that killed Osama bin Laden — speak of distracting.
