Anonymous Exposes email exchanges by Military persons on Marines who Urinated on Dead Corpses

The Marine Corps recently stated that they’ve identified the Marine snipers taking a piss on dead bodies in Afghanistan which sparked an outrage. So far, their names have not been released, but Anonymous members have leaked some enlightening emails as to how others feel about their despicable behavior which put this country in a negative light — most of the exchanges are from Marines and/or former military persons and bloggers.

 

 

 

 

 

Capt. James Spoo, Col. Jim Miles Ret., Pat Dugan USMC and Former Marine Don Greenlaw (who, if I’m correct also runs also runs a hate blog) participated in the email exchanges along with countless others. The emails are teeming with hatred.

A few snippets, “Put pig’s grease on your bullets, dump pig’s grease on the dead, chop ‘em up and feed them to the local dogs. But don’t put it on the internet.”
“Don’t put it on the Internet,” he states, yet he relayed his thoughts in a mass mailing.

And:

You know someone in the Press or someone in the Government or DoD will make this a major issue and come after you. I hear this photo identified two of the team members and I’m sure they will come up on some kind of charges.

It’s like the Abu Ghraib Prison incident. Pose for photos with the prisoners, have some fun, and do what you need to do, BUT don’t put it on the internet. No/no one would have ever heard of that ‘session’ if they kept it off of the internet.

Colonel, this puts a light so bad on our country that we may never recover. We are as bad as our ‘enemies’ thanks to the our country justifying torture and now you and your cohorts condoning urinating on dead corpses. It is an act beneath our country’s standards. Because Colonel, our military men and women are supposed to uphold the country’s dignity and standing in the world’s eyes.

Anonymous operatives posted a recorded phone message this week that they intercepted/hacked from the FBI and Scotland Yard. Anons have been very busy this week, taking down site after site and outing responsible parties to serious offenses.

    Its cool if you don’t want to follow the Geneva code but consider why no one takes care of vets when they come back, your actions soldier push you and your brethren back a peg in the light of civilized life, and bonus- all the people in Afghanistan who see this and join the Taliban and do manage to kill American soldiers, well that blood is on your hands. I support the action of soldiers who risk their lives for a more stable tomorrow, but the few who endanger us all by being less then civilized me should have the god damn books thrown at them hard. Long live democracy and my we see its return to American politics

    I agree that war turns men into monsters, but what’s wrong with pissing on dead Taliban? Native Americans scalped and castrated their victims. It’s nothing new. The enemy’s the enemy. They lose, they get pissed on.

      you should read more, scalping was a tradition amongst many frontier settlers and not noted in Native American history until the appearance of white men you ignorant fuck. Any-who, the reason its wrong is if someone invades your country and starts killing and peeing on people is that these actions create eminent hate for the aggressors (America) and fuels groups like the Taliban. Do yourself a favor and get some education or kill yourself.

    God, most of you guys are terrible. You’re just going to sit back and pass judgement on our military while casually drinking your morning coffee, aren’t you? You have no idea what horrible things our enemies are capable of doing to other humans, because you don’t see it on the news, or read about it in the paper. The next time you feel the need to pick apart the military for interacting with monsters inappropriately, go down to your local recruitment office, signup, and feel free to do it better yourself.

      yes we will, if they don’t have the strength of character for military duty fuck them, i don’t sign up for jobs or responsibilities that are beyond my control and when i do please complain, its the only way to improve situation- also theirs no honor in invading a country, i will support troops when they engage in a real war, and not corporate-interest sparked wars.

      But showing that we are capable for what we consider a very serious crime is ok? Most of these “Taliban” are forced into recruitment or there families get shot. Just because they are “capable” doesnt make this anymore right. I come from a big military family, so i take this very seriously. This “war” is our fault, we made them monsters. We as a nation turn a blind eye to most this stuff. We only know about it because of anon. Think before you speak.

    “We are as bad as our enemies?” Really? World politics isn’t a popularity contest. The military exists for one function. To protect. To protect means to kill those who threaten who protect. To kill requires psychological distance for it to be acceptable, or possible. What are they supposed to do, send them roses and take them out to dinner? That’s what the rifles are for, kisses right sweetheart? Anyone who thinks honoring the enemy influences their opinion must also believe that killing them must not have offended them very much cause its not like a big deal when daddies or brothers or sons are murdered on the battlefield. Go grow soy somewhere and chant om and let soldiers do what they have to do to cope with the madness of war.

    Yeah, children being blown to smithereens, losing limbs and eyes, having their insides turned to jelly from the concussion of a blast wave…is this the “higher moral standard” that proud America lives by? It’s acceptable to perform an airstrike on a wedding party and kill tens of people as “collateral damage” to get one alleged big-shot. Yet to urinate upon the corpses of those who were trying to kill you is considered offensive and unsportsmanlike conduct in the field of war. The US has pissed on the entire middle east. So this is only allegory for the greater role of the US govt and corporate America.

They have to dehumanize the ‘enemy’ which becomes anyone not wearing a USA flag. Men, women, children…they arent’t ‘us’ so they should die. How very Christian of us.

      Unfortunately, being a Christian and being “patriotic” at the same time is an impossibility. Christianity says to love everyone – most especially your enemies. The military says to kill your enemies. No matter what the military claims, there is simply no possible way to two such opposite codes.
