Grover Norquist at CPAC: “The Left Is Made Up Of Competing Parasites”

February 11, 2012
By

Stereotyping is generalizing, or assumptions, which are normally wrong. People elaborate about the characteristics of members of an entire group, based on an image as they perceive it. Also in a footnote if you sift through the dictionary is the name, Grover Norquist.

Norquist took the podium at CPAC reminding attendeees to keep their eye on the ball in reducing taxes (for the rich). And, he had a plan to promote Conservatism and stereotype the left.

Mediaite reports:

Tax reduction crusader Grover Norquisttook the helm at CPAC earlier this evening with a fiery speech reminding CPAC attendees to keep their eye on the ball in reducing taxes and giving them a game plan as to how to promote conservatism to the best of their ability. The plan included plenty of what one would expect: refusing to sit at the table with Democrats to increase taxes and going on a state by state plan to flip Democratic leadership in each of the “fifty of fifty-seven states, who’s counting?”

In 1982, they lied and fooled Ronald Reagan,” he argued, whereas “in 2011, they weren’t able to talk the Republicans into swallowing their own tongues and committing suicide.”

Norquist celebrated that the rise of aggressive conservatism had cornered the American Left. “Now they’re wondering who they’re going to eat or throw overboard,” he joked.

“You cannot solve a problem with too much spending by raising taxes,” he argued, and laid out a plan to regain the state governments for the GOP, while following up with a reminder that a tax on smoking disproportionately hurts the lower classes.

(My bold)

What ‘hurts’ the middle and lower classes is not taxing the wealthy. What we’ve just witnessed is desperation. His ‘Taxed enough already’ Tea Party is dying. He stands alone. Other Conservatives have felt anxious after signing his redundant, numerous pledges, leaving no room for negotiation. He’s speaking down to his audience. The majority of Americans want taxes raised on the wealthy. Norquist does not need to talk down to the general public – save it for CPAC.  Grover Norquist is the very essence of, parasitical.

What about Obama’s terrorist police state he’s creating? “Attack Watch”, “truth teams”, spying on citizens, drones, illegal wars, paling around with the Muslim Brotherhood, marxist redistribution of wealth class warfare tactics that divide Americans, attacks on freedom of speech (talk radio, media matters paranoia) freedom of religion (government appointed ministers, forcing people to violate conscience to pay for infanticide), attacks on Christianity (they aren’t forcing Muslims to provide basic human rights to women!)environmental bigots siding with smelt instead of human beings, constant appeasement towards Muslim groups who violate women’s rights everyday (Where is NOW?), supporting internet censorship (SOPA/PIPA, forcing everyone to have only one password) not to mention INDEFINITE DETENTION OF AMERICAN CITIZENS WITHOUT DUE PROCESS. This is soft tyranny, at best.

Money is spent best by the person who new what it took to obtain it. Government is a third party, stealing money from the populace to reward it’s friends in power, and wasting billions of our hard earned money each year. It’s called crony capitalism, and all you lefties are for it, since you support Obama. Obama has more wall street cronies in his cabinet than any president combined. Ownership and private property and freedom of association is what makes a free society, not attacks on private property, redistribution of wealth by arbitrary means, and attacks on free religious institutions. But go ahead, call me a racist, a terrorist, a teabagger, or whatever other insults you liberals dream up in order to make yourselves feel better about your immorality and ignorance.

And yes, liberals support a parasitic, dependent populace, thinking some how the government is more benevolent than capitalism. It is actually the opposite. Government takes money from people through legal plunder, which is their only power, and divides it up as whomever in power sees fit. That’s called arbitrary power. Government holds a gun to our heads, while we can decide if we want to give money to businesses or corporations. No one forces you to buy anything, except now the government, with it’s unconstitutional mandate to buy health insurance, controlled by a few omnipresent all-powerful bureaucrats. Sorry, it’s the dems who want to push granny off the cliff. Obama stole 500billion from Medicare to pay for his trainwreck Obummercare. 5 trillion dollars more debt, that our children have to pay off. That is immoral. Power to the people!

Ignorant assessment of the state of our country. You tax the rich, and they will jus t continue to move their money and businesses overseas, hurting the middle classes especially. ALso, you could tax the rich 100% and it would pay for this administration’s reckless ideological spending for about four months. Sorry, but we have a SPENDING problem, and it’s got to stop.

  • Enough Political Crap

The entire tax system is a mess. Why is it that 47% of the nation pays 0% in taxes? We should institute a tax policy that requires ALL Americans to pay some type of tax. That way everyone has a chip in the game and EVERYONE may be a little more concerned as to how tax revenues are being spent.

The truth is you can tax the rich all you want but there is not enough “rich” people to make a real difference. How about a National sales tax with no exemptions for anyone or anything. That way if the rich are buying proportionately more, they will pay more. But the 47% will also be paying something into the system. This would also flush the money earned in the underground economy such as drug dealers and illegal immigrants.

Also why doesn’t the Federal government have a balanced budget requirement? We have not even had a Federal budget for the past three years. This is just plain fiscally irresponsible.

And finally, why not require all Federal employees to have the same health care as our nations fighting men and women? Are not our soldiers worthy of receiving the same type of benefits and care as the President and Congress?

Well – the affluent part of society where an increasing number of people get stuck without essentials for dignity and survival will eventually be fed Guillotines. It’s quite simple, happened everywhere in history. It’s either revolution or the end of society. CPAC is the same societal cancer as any Czar or Marie Antoinette. Or politbureau.

Us average Americans (99%) would most likely not care about taxing the rich if the rich would stop taxing us. What Americans pay out to government in taxes pales when compared to the tens of billions we pay to the private sector, in fees, penalties, usurious interest rates, inflated insurance premiums ad in finitum. Any time the corporate world suspects that Americans are socking away a few extra bucks they devise new vehicles for snatching it out from under our mattresses. These private sector taxes do nothing to create jobs. On the other hand if American consumers were able to hang on to this cash long enough they would spend it mostly at small businesses who would then hire more people as they gained new customers.
