Republican candidate Mitt Romney, in 2008 campaigned for president in Michigan decnouncing Washington’s nonchalance over lost automobile industry jobs. Depending on his mood, which shifts frequently, or his desire for power, he’ll change his stance in a New York minute.
Of course, Mitt changed his views on the car industry and soon after GM announced earnings of $9.19 billion in 2011 which is the largest profit in its 103 year history.
GM retook the lead in global auto sales from Toyota last year. Again, from Toyota.
