While the country mourns the senseless death of teenager Trayvon Martin, others have stepped up to highlight their own particular brand of Stupid. Geraldo Rivera is no exception; he has decided to clean up our streets filled with evil hoodies. Hoodies, don’t kill. People do; but stay with me here.
This morning in an appearance on Fox & Friends, Geraldo deflected (oh look over there, a hoodie!) some of the blame from the shooter, George Zimmerman.
“When you see a black or Latino youngster, particularly on the street, you walk to the other side of the street. You try to avoid that confrontation.” And: “I’ll bet you money, if he didn’t have that hoodie on, that — that nutty neighborhood watch guy wouldn’t have responded in that violent and aggressive way.”
Rivera continued, “I am urging the parents of black and Latino youngsters particularly to not let their children go out wearing hoodies.”
Geraldo must be suicidal, because he’s worn evil hoodies throughout his public career. It’s as if a target was painted on his back. Grrr hoodies!
Geraldo’s hoodie is clearly asking for it:
On the night that Tray was shot down, it was drizzling/raining, just as it was in the following picture.
I’m beginning to think that Geraldo is a serial hoodie….er…wearer.
Well this is getting monotonous.
Keep your children safe. Let’s stop the hoodie madness, just like Geraldo didn’t.
