Radio host Rush Limbaugh was compelled to weigh in on the President’s stunning endorsement of same sex marriage yesterday and as always, Rush remained consistently wrong on his show, while sounding suspiciously like Ralph Cramden.
“Everybody knows Obama is in favor of it, and everybody knows he doesn’t have the courage to say so,” screeched the Conservative opportunist. (Except President Obama just endorsed same sex marriage). “Because everybody knows that the vast majority of the people of the country are opposed to it, and therefore it will not help his reelection,” Rush fabricates.
So, what is it? Political posturing on the part of President Obama, or is he damning his chances at reelection? Rush is having a hissy fit of epic proportions, and can’t decide how to demonize the Obama on this issue. We do know that whatever the President does, it’s wrong while Rush is at his mic.
1/2 of Americans believe that same-sex couples should have the same right to marry as heterosexuals, slightly down from a year ago but marking the second year that a majority of Americans have supported same-sex marriage, according to a Gallup Poll survey released on Tuesday.
Limbaugh states, “I know these guys. I know how they think. I know what they’re gonna do before they do it.” Right back at ya’ Rush. I
was curious knew exactly how the GOP mouthpiece would react. For example, the ex-(possibly) Oxycontin and marriage/divorce addict, who has been divorced 3 times (three), now married 4 times claims that Obama has initiated a War on Marriage.
Oh noes, Obama started a War on Marriage! We’d better get our guns. We can’t. Obama has a war on them too!
