GOP spendthrifts: $50 million later, 33 failed attempts at repealing Obamacare & Michele Bachmann tries again

Don’t ever say that Republicans haven’t accomplished anything. They have in fact voted on repealing Obamacare 33 times in the past two years and by the end of President Obama’s 2nd term, at this rate we can add at least 33 more attempts.  GOP spendthrifts have spent at least 88 hours and $50 million, while failing to pass a single piece of job creation legislation in the last session of Congress which is deemed as the least productive since 1947. But hey, if at first you don’t succeed, maybe the 62nd time will do the trick.  Michele Bachmann was just sworn in and her first action was to attempt another repeal of the health care law in its entirety. Never mind that she has nothing to replace it with, no plan, no focus; simply a way to rid America of Obama’s signature legislation.

Bachmann’s bill will come to the House floor, and once more Congress will vote to repeal Obamacare for the 34th time and it will fail. Even if it went as far as the President’s desk, it would be vetoed  so what’s the point? Of the 47 bills  Bachmann has introduced, only two have passed.

Bachmann has authored bills that no lawmaker will cosponsor; the Minnesota Congresswoman has sponsored bills over and over again only to fail.

I suppose it’s too much to ask for Congress people to do their jobs.  But, some are more focused on radical ideas, such as Reps. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) and Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) who voted for Allen West during the roll call of lawmakers to elect a House speaker for the 113th Congress on Thursday. We’re doomed.

Idea: The three insane lawmakers can get together and try to think of something crafty like the next attempt to repeal Obamacare. I’m sure it will work the 35th time. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I thought she was leaving. she should be leaving. Why would she be on an intelligence committee? She obviously is not qualified. Bachman is Dumb. Most of the extremists are dumb, but she make it an art-form.

House Republicans periodically need to engage in a session of political masturbation to relieve the pent-up stress created the internal bickering and turmoil of their dysfunctional party.

I’m sure they all feel much better now.

But they make us all watch. I don’t want to see them masturbate.

That makes perfect cents. Humans don’t need health care.
