During the Super Bowl, former South Carolina GOP executive director Todd Kincannon sent out racially-charged tweets, such as, “This Super Bowl sucks more dick than adult Trayvon Martin would have for drug money.” Later, during a power outage, he added: “It hasn’t been this dark in the Superdome since all those poors occupied it after Hurricane Katrina.” On HuffPost Live, Kincannon defended himself. claiming that he was “high-profile trolling.” He said he didn’t understand why the killing of Trayvon was political and insisted joking about the Florida teen’s demise was fair because of the people who said “insensitive things” about his killer, George Zimmerman.
Kinacannon added, “I think it is time for a conversation in this country about why a conservative isn’t allowed to state an opinion that other people happen to disagree with, without having death threats and being threatened with all kinds of various ridiculous things. This is real problem we have. People talk about political discourse in this country — you might think what I said was tasteless, you’re welcome to. But should I get death threats as a result of it?”
But, Todd is offensive daily. He also doesn’t seem to comprehend how the loss of life affects people in a sensitive case. Kincannon has targeted women, making ‘dead husband’ jokes to a widow. He considers himself to be a comedian of sorts, but his people skills are as lacking as his comedy routine. His followers egg him on as his ego inflates.
More about Todd.
It’s nothing new for Conservatives to game a social site. But this time, it seems they’re going the Tea Party route being co-opted by money while getting many Progressives on Twitter suspended. To suspend Twitter accounts, someone from this group follows someone, then retweets them, then in unison they use the ‘spam block’ feature. What’s really interesting is that they are now accepting donations; for what purpose, God only knows. Making a hashtag certainly is not too difficult a task for them to work out. Or perhaps it is. If you are Retweeted and someone adds the #TGDN hashtag, block them immediately.
The ‘admin’ account for the hashtag: TGDN, which also has a link to donate money — because using a hashtag is so difficult.

Twitter makes it easy to report accounts for spam. When enough users report an account, it automatically gets suspended. Some users abuse this feature by organizing a group to report or “spam-block” a single account in order to get it suspended.
Conservatives created the “Twitter Gulag Defense Network” or #TGDN to stop spam-blocking attacks. Aware that accounts with more followers are less likely to get suspended, they mutually followed anyone else using #TGDN. Now that their group is organized and members are protected, they have begun targeted spam-blocking of progressive accounts, exactly what their group was created to oppose. Ironic.

The solution: do not engage. If you don’t @mention or follow an account first, Twitter doesn’t care whether that account spam-blocks you later. Never tweet or follow any account sporting #TGDN. Ignore any account that mentions you with #TGDN in their tweets. Unfollow any accounts with #TGDN in their biography.
Update:@ToddKincannon, who created the #TGDN, has recently come out against spam-blocking of accounts (h/t @soderstrom). This behavior is still prevalent among members of #TGDN, so avoidance remains your best strategy to cope. Hopefully this group will work to control bad actors among its ranks.
It’s more than likely Todd decided against spam blocking because he was caught, meanwhile, his followers are still out in force. I did notice quite a few accounts suddenly following me on Twitter with ‘Impeach Obama” type profiles, then they attempted to bait me while adding the #TGDN hashtag.
Unfollow any dubious accounts asap.
Fight back against TGDN’s censorship.

You’ll find a list of thousands of Democrats and Progressives to follow and you will be added to the list. You’ll gain so many followers, it’s hard to keep up with your list.
Todd Kincannon’s penis, or lack thereof.
Yeah, he’s that crude.
