#CPAC2013 tweets: "If you see Black people at CPAC…take a picture and Tweet it here …We need lots of ammo"

CPAC 2013 just kicked off and Ken Cuccinelli took the stage as the first speaker. For bragging rights, he begins by saying he was the first Attorney General to sue the Federal Government over the Affordable Care Act, aka: Obamacare. Expect more regurgitated ideas which result in failure, and perhaps another mention of efforts to repeal Obamacare for the 34th time.

Via Media Matters:

The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) bills itself as an event convened to “crystallize the best of the conservative thought in America” that will showcase “all of the leading conservative organizations and speakers.” Media covering CPAC 2013 should know that the conference’s speakers, from the most prominent to the lesser-known, have a history of launching smears, pushing conspiracy theories, and hyping myths about the validity of President Obama’s birth certificate.

So far, this is going swimmingly. The GOP’s best and brightest: Allen West.

Wayne LaPierre.

A blogger sent this tweet out. I really don’t think it’s a good idea for a bunch of old white guys to chase down a lone black man – if they can find one.

Allen West got a standing ovation. More later. Sarah Palin will likely mumble out some regurgitated old talking points, perhaps a repeal Obamacare or two.

So you assume African Americans can’t be Republican? Seems pretty racist, don’t you think?

What Allen West won’t admit is that when President Obama leaves office, he won’t be confined to Illinois and the U.S. He won’t be forced to cancel foreign speaking engagements for fear of being arrested once his feet touch foreign soil because, unlike GWB, he will be warmly welcomed in any nation on the planet.
