When the truth hurts: Megyn Kelly is upset with Rachel Maddow over calling Justice Scalia a Troll

This is cute. Megyn Kelly on Fox News called out MSNBC host Rachel Maddow after she deemed Justice Antonin Scalia as a “troll,” arguing that she objects to describing someone who sits on the bench of the Supreme Court in that manner. But, when Justice Roberts voted in support of Obamacare, she wasn’t a happy camper. Kelly’s colleagues have not given the same respect she demands to the President. And, Scalia is most certainly a troll, although most of us would use more expletives in describing what we see as a cartoon of a Fox  News representative sitting on the Supreme Court of the United States.

Via Talking Points Memo:

Appearing on “The Daily Show” on Thursday night, Maddow took aim at the conservative justice after he characterized part of the “Voting Rights Act” as a “perpetuation of racial entitlement.”

“It’s weird to see Antonin Scalia in person,” Maddow told Jon Stewart. “He’s a troll. He’s saying this for effect. He knows it’s offensive, and he knows he’s going to get a gasp from the courtroom which he got. And he loves it. He’s like the guy in your blog comment thread who’s using the n-word. … He’s that kind of guy.”

While deeming Rachel Maddow only as a “liberal commentator,” Megyn Kelly said she personally objects to “that kind of language against the Supreme Court justice.”

“I don’t think it does anybody any good,” Kelly added. “I think they vote their consciences up there whether they’re left or right.”

O right…Fox bubbles heads like her are ALL about respecting the office…choke, sputter…excuse me while I puke.

  • heychief

hey now I’m a troll Scalia is racist

Poor Tony Scalia – so misunderstood and abused. Take pity on him…afterall, he is a friend of Cheney’s (that probably knows NOT to go hunting with him) . He just wants to assure that only his neo-con buddies win. He is trying to kill Voting Rights Act, appointed Bush to president and refuses to recuse himself from decisions in which there is a distinct conflict of interest….Why would anyone question his motives!

Vote their consciences??? HAHAHHAHAH. Cute, Megyn. So corporate shills had nothing to do with Citizens United? And I bet if we went back to the nominations of Sotomayor and Kagen, we’d find you used far more ugly words than “troll” when talking about them. AND if you believe what you said, why does the GOP block anyone they deem too ‘liberal?’ I mean, they all vote their consciences, right?
