Paul Kevin Curtis of Mississippi, was arrested after allegedly sending the potential dangerous poison Ricin to President Obama, Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) and a state Judge by way of a letter. He was released after an investigation and reportedly, authorities didn’t find any ricin in Curtis’ Corinth home or vehicle. Federal agents are now searching the home of J. Everett Dutschke, a former Republican candidate.

WTVA reports, “Earlier this week the defense attorney for Paul Kevin Curtis- the man accused of mailing three ricin laced letters to President Obama, Senator Roger Wicker, and Judge Sadie Holland- suggested prosecutors look into J. Everett Dutschke.

Defense attorney Christi McCoy said Curtis is innocent and the government has failed to find any proof connecting him to the letters.”

USA Today reports, “On Monday, an FBI agent said federal authorities didn’t find any ricin in Curtis’ Corinth home or vehicle.

McCoy says the search results bolster Curtis’ claims of innocence.

McCoy also pointed to alleged child molester and former political hopeful J. Everett Dutschke as a possible person of interest in potentially framing her client.”

There is a team consisting of FBI, Tupelo, and Lee County authorities are conducting a search at the Tupelo home of Everett Dutschke. There are around 10 law enforcement vehicles at or near the home, according to the Clarion Ledger.

The former Republican candidate for Mississippi’s House of Representatives denies that he has any involvement.

TPM reports, “This is not Dutschke’s first brush with the law. Earlier this year, Dutschke, who operates a taekwondo studio in Tupelo, Miss., was charged with one count of child molestation for a case involving a 7-year-old female. He was then released on bond.”

As it happens, the Judge who was supposed to receive one of the ricin letters is Judge Holland, the mother of the man who defeated Dutschke in his 2007 campaign, incumbent Democrat Daniel Holland.

Nah, more satisfaction that in the news there is some truth re right wing terror. Over 56% of the plot/attacks are right wing, home grown terrorists. That means REPUBLICAN sympathizers (if anyone can sympathize w/repbublicans)

The day this news came out, there were lots of idiots that were making a big deal out of him being a Democrat. How are they going to like that stereotyping when it’s used against them? The truth is, there are some lousy people in both political parties. Remember what they say about glass houses?

It’s like a disgustingly sick soap opera starring a pedo-GOPer who allegedly tried to poison the POTUS.

      Thanks for the compliment.

What about right-wing terror? Who tracks that?

The Southern Poverty Law Center does a great job.

I know. It was more of a rhetorical question indicating that there are a great many of these types of “event.” More than Muslim involved or from other groups. That’s the interesting point. Major media fails to note that the RWC (right-wing-crazies) are far more active in terror plots in the US than others.
