Our site will not be publishing on the 22nd in protest of CISPA, which stands for the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act. The invasive and somewhat vague bill would allow corporations to share your personal information with the government without a warrant. Major internet entities such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google would be able to voluntarily share your personal information with the U.S. Government. Again, with no warrant.
Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian:
We protest because we are not 14 year-olds tweeting from our basements as Rep. Mike Rogers, sponsor of CISPA, claims.
