Steve Lonegan says he can stop Obamacare: “When I win, Obama will fold”

October 10, 2013

Republican  New Jersey Senate Candidate Steve Lonegan  said on Thursday that he has a way to single handedly stop Obamacare and help the GOP emerge victorious in its shutdown standoff, TPM reports.

in the statement issued by Lonegan’s campaign, it tells Republicans in Washington “not to capitulate to the president’s unreasonable demands” until after Wednesday’s special U.S. Senate election in New Jersey.

Even though Cory Booker is leading in the double digits, Lonegan believes he will win and in turn, his victory will cause Obama to give in to the Republican demands to stop the health care law.

Lonegan said arrogantly in the statement,”When I win, Obama will fold.”

Talking Points Memo reports, “My victory in this election on Wednesday will send a message to Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi that the American people want an end to Obamacare and the rest of the President’s radical agenda,” said Lonegan. “Republicans need to hold firm because seven days from today when Bob Menendez escorts me down the Senate aisle for my swearing in, the message about what our party should do will be clear for all.”

If I told you, it wouldn’t be a secret.

Well-said. I think that the logo you use fascinates me. I’m interested in iconography graphics generally. It caught my attention and haven’t seen it anywhere before. Can you share its meaning?

Reminds me of the promise Michele Bachmann made when she said she could bring down the price of gas to $2.00 a gallon.

OMFG talk about delusions of bare competence. This is the same guy who said if somebody has cancer he really doesn’t give a crap he doesn’t want to pay for them to get government help. They should simply die and maybe he’ll pray for them. He actually said he intends to be just as callous as he needs to be.

Is this guy been praying at the Bachmann church? The Church of the Lost and Delusional?

As an ex-New Jerseyan i can vouch for the fact that Republican politicians from NJ are notoriously stupid and in denial. I t was a great state before the rethuglicans got involved in its government. Lonegan proves that .
