Tea Party truckers derping up the highway in Washington for your freedoms and stuff

October 11, 2013

The Tea Party truckers are riding down the socialist highways on the Capital Beltway in protest of the evil government, which their party has shut down. ‘Truckers Ride for the Constitution’ are clogging up traffic. The irony: Republicans blame Democrats for the shutdown, while angry tea party truckers are shutting down the highways while people are trying to get to work.

The founder of the event, batshit crazy Zeeda Andrews said as many as 3,000 big rigs to the nation’s capital may show up, but only  30 participants made an appearance as of 10 a.m. but the numbers could possibly grow.

A CBS local affiliate reports, “Andrews insists the convoy is meant to be a peaceful protest rather than a traffic clog. The organizer said Thursday that reports of the trucks planning to take up three lanes of the Beltway were inaccurate, and that they should only occupy one lane of traffic.

But WNEW’s John Domen, who began following the trucks early Friday morning also they drove north along Interstate 95 and onto Interstate 495, said trucks were taking up all four lanes of the Inner Loop of the Beltway in Annandale, Va., and had slowed to 10 mph, blocking traffic from getting by.”

A Virginia State Police officer approached the small convoy of butthurt truckers just before 9:00  a.m. and pulled over one truck to the shoulder. Then the other three trucks also pulled over to the side. Police gave the drivers a warning.

The tea party trucks then resumed their drive along the Beltway at about 40 mph, taking up three right lanes and letting traffic by in the far left lane. The posted speed limit for the entire 64-mile length of the interstate is 55 mph, according to CBS.

An organizer for the Tea Party truckers is interviewed by Greta Van Susteren:

This is going to be so much fun. By fun, I mean to point and laugh at. While he’s trying to distance himself from controversial figures within the group of angry white truckers, the founder is completely nuts.

He adds that bikers may join them. Oh joy.

Follow John Domen on Twitter for news on the tea party highway hoedown. He’s following them.

For the record: I am going to tell on one of our readers. @Mea-Mark suggested that maybe one of our readers could take pictures. Why do you want to do that to our awesome readers Mea-Mark? WHY?;-)

Another great use of natural resources. Some protests accomplish something to move along an agenda or idea. This one, I’m not so sure it did much more than piss off a lot bystanders. Not sure the leaders ever thought too much about that consequence. Maybe their next protest could be better thought out and accomplish more???

That stupid, idiot-goat-mutant, TP trucker they interviewed just sidestepped the real question … WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU PROTESTING? Somehow he seems to think somebody has interfered with his 1st Amendment rights but he doesn’t give examples. All this clown is, is a cry-baby throwing a tantrum.

You know, obstructing traffic isn’t going to help their cause. It’s just going to really piss off a LOT of people trying to drive those highways and they’ll blame the TP and the GOP. I guess that’s one good thing that will result from this, more alienation of the TP and the GOP from the American people. What a bunch of stupid, brain-dead shitheads.

Would somebody PLEASE tell these Teabagger nimrods that having truckers clog up the Beltway for hours on end is just “business as usual” in DC?

DC drivers never even noticed the difference today. The rain slowed down traffic more than these yahoos.

I notice none of the trucks pictured have a load. So these guys are basically wasting everyones money, including their own.

Nothing says “productive protest” like a deadhead truck clogging up traffic. It really drives the point home: they’re an angry load of nothing.

So these guys being truckers and member of the Teabaggers….I wonder what union they belong to….just kind of ironic if you ask me…..

I honestly don’t believe that anyone is looking at the flags.

And for other news from the inane, mundane and insane

They may not be able to create a grammatically correct sentence, but they can spin that bullshit.

It’s kind of funny how they go so far out of their way to poke fun at Obama’s “shovel-ready projects,” considering that they’re talking about people who make their living on the highways and stand to lose everything should a neglected bridge collapse under them.

They have been ‘desecrating” the country and the Constitution without a care for 313 million of us for some time. The flag is minor in comparison
