Donald Trump’s campaign for Preznit has announced the hiring of Michael Glassner, a former aide to GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.
Donald Trump said two days ago on ‘The Palin Update’ that he would “love” to have the half term Governor of Alaska as part of his inevitable White House administration.
Talking Points Memo reports:
Glassner will be the national political director and will develop a national political strategy and implementation, according to a release from the campaign. In 2008, he was the director of vice presidential operations for the McCain-Palin ticket.
“I am pleased to welcome Michael Glassner to our national campaign leadership team. In addition to our great success in all the recent national polls, we have built a great team, ultimately driven by my message to Make America Great Again and Mr. Glassner will certainly be an asset to us as we further cement our dominance in the 2016 GOP field,” Trump said in a statement.
Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said that Trump was not ‘marketable.’
“I don’t think you’re going to elect a man President of the United States who is a birther,” Graham said. “I don’t believe you’re going to elect a man President of the United States who spent thousands of his own dollars, he claims, trying to find out if Obama was born in Kenya. I don’t think you’re going to elect a man President of the United States who basically said most illegal immigrants are drug dealers and rapists (and) who slandered veterans like John McCain.”
Trump needs to put Bristol in charge of stocking the White House with alcoholic beverages. Walter Palmer can be the chef, serving up endangered species.
And of course, Michael Cohen, special counsel at The Trump Organization, can be in charge of the War on Women after his “You cannot rape your spouse” remarks.
Sarah Palin can be the Director of Important Stuff.
