Members of the armed anti-government group occupying a federal building near Burns, Oregon, are upset over the treatment they’re getting compared to the Black Lives Matter protesters. The image below documents a SWAT team ready to confront Black Lives Matter protesters. We just thought we’d use that image to show the stupidity of the militia member’s claim.
Conservatives have been comparing the two since the armed militants took control of the building even though the Black Lives Matter movement is absolutely nothing like the militia members who have forced schools to close over their defense of two arsonists.
The courageous badass patriot who spoke up about this travesty of justice goes by the name of ‘Fluffy Unicorn.’
The Huffington Post reports:
In the parking lot of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge — which the militants stormed and took over on Saturday in the name of grazing privileges — a man who claimed to be a body guard for the group’s leaders said they are facing worse resistance than Black Lives Matter, a nationwide campaign to end police brutality against people of color.
“The Black Lives Matter movement, they can go and protest, close freeways down and all that stuff, and they don’t get any backlash, not on the level that we’re getting,” said the man, who identified himself as “Fluffy Unicorn.”
Fluffy (I can call you Fluffy, right?) admitted that police have used force against Black Lives Matter protesters, but he be added that “their level of protesting is different; we’re not obstructing schools.”
Umm…yes they are obstructing schools. The school district cancelled class this week after the militia members invaded the area. The Bureau of Land Management is closed. The extremist group holed up in the building have closed off roads leading to it.
Black Lives Matters protesters would be shot dead if they pulled a stunt such as the armed Oregon occupiers did. In addition, BLM protests have been prompted by the shootings of unarmed African-Americans, whereas these ‘patriots’ are protesting in defense of two arsonists.
There are no police rushing in wearing riot gear. No militarized weapons or vehicles in the area. But that’s what happened in Ferguson and other cities during each protest.
Ammon Bundy has said that his people won’t “rule out violence” if law enforcement “tries to remove them.” Black Lives Matters’ slogan of ‘hands up don’t shoot’ is in stark contrast to the armed militants’ rhetoric in Oregon.
Tamir Rice, 12, was shot dead by a police officer when found playing with a toy gun in an “open carry” state. We could cite so many examples, such as John Crawford, too, but the list is lengthy.
Meanwhile, these whiny little ‘patriots’ have sent out an alert for people to send snacks.
History books documented Paul Revere’s famous midnight ride on April 18th, 1775, from Boston to Lexington to warn that the British were coming. Just ten minutes out from the start of his trip, one of America’s most famous patriots, demanded a bag of Doritos before completing his trip:(
