Ben Carson: Put Harriet Tubman On The $2 Bill Instead (VIDEO)

Conservatives are losing their sh*t over the newest face of the $20 bill, Harriet Tubman. Oh, and by the way, she’s black. She was also fearless.

We wrote about the epic conservative meltdown over the honor afforded to Tubman’s memory and what she stood for. But standing out front and center, we see failed presidential candidate, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, explaining to us that it’s wrong. Tubman, he says, should be on the $2.00 bill.

USA Today reports:

Ben Carson, fresh off beating Ted Cruz in a New York House district during Tuesday’s GOP primary, weighed in on the newest face of the $20 bill, Harriet Tubman.

His suggestion: Maybe she should be on a bill that’s worth less?

Carson’s comment came Wednesday on Fox Business Network’s Cavuto Coast to Coast, where he spoke with host Neil Cavuto.

“Well I think Andrew Jackson was a tremendous secretary. I mean a tremendous president,” Carson,  who now backs Donald Trump, said.

“Andrew Jackson was the last president who actually balanced the federal budget, where we had no national debt,” Carson said. “In honor of that, we kick him off of the money.”

“Are you anti-Harriet Tubman?” Cavuto asked.

“No, I love Harriet Tubman,” said Carson. “I love what she did. But we can find another way to honor her. Maybe a $2 bill.”

Watch:

The $2 bill was last issued in 2003. What that means is, the two dollar bill is no longer relevant. It really never was. Sort of like Ben Carson.

In contrast, Harriet Tubman was an abolitionist. She was also a Union spy during the American Civil War and  she was a humanitarian. She had guts. Carson, however, appears to have no guts, no balls and no conscience. Conservatives went crazy on Twitter and even Allen West reported the news, saying a ‘PRO-GUN REPUBLICAN will replace will replace Andrew Jackson on $20 bill.” (republican caps, his)

If only the two parties hadn’t shifted since then, he would be correct. Ms. Tubman would never be a republican today.

As for Carson, Tubman wouldn’t be too fond of him. Remember, he said Obamacare was worse than slavery.
