WATCH: Democrats Savage Don Jr. By Reading His Emails On The House Floor

Democratic lawmakers took to the House floor on Friday to read Donald Trump Jr.’s emails regarding a 2016 meeting with a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer, calling them a “smoking gun” in the probe into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential election, including any possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the hostile foreign government.

With more and more news being revealed about that meeting, Reps. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) and Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) brutalized Junior for trying to gather damaging information about Hillary Clinton from Russia during the campaign in order to help his father win the election.

“Don Jr.’s emails are a smoking gun,” Gallego said on the House floor. “They prove that the Trump campaign was not only aware of the Russian government’s efforts to meddle in our elections, they were enthusiastic about accepting Russian support.”

Gallego continued to say that the emails “paint a disturbing picture of a campaign, and now an administration, willing to break the law and sell out to an adversary of the United States in order to advance their own petty interests.”

Gallego then asked Americans to think about Donald Trump’s “fitness” for office in light of the controversial email chain.

Gallego slammed Junior, saying he “lacks basic integrity.”

After the two Democratic lawmakers were finished, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) took to the floor to accuse them of using “sinister sounding descriptions” of Trump Jr.’s contacts with Russia. Apparently, Rohrabacher isn’t paying attention. In fact, Junior lied about the meeting and changed his story 4 times. Like father, like son: Trump’s lawyers knew about the meeting in June, thus casting doubt on the amateur president’s claim that he did not know they met at Trump Tower.
